# Connect Claude

> Add TechnicallyFit to Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and Claude Code.

TechnicallyFit works in Claude as a connector. Once it's added, Claude can read your
training and, if you allow it, make changes that you confirm in TechnicallyFit.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need a TechnicallyFit account. The teammate workspace is free. Coach workspace
> tools need a paid Coach Academy plan (see [Workspaces](https://docs.technicallyfit.com/connect/permissions.md#workspaces)).

## Claude on the web and desktop app

Custom connectors are available on Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.

**1. Open connector settings**

In Claude, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**.

**2. Add a custom connector**

Choose **Add custom connector**, name it `TechnicallyFit`, and paste the server
address:

```text theme={null}
https://mcp.technicallyfit.com/mcp
```

**3. Sign in with TechnicallyFit**

Choose **Connect**. A TechnicallyFit sign-in page opens. Sign in with your
TechnicallyFit account. You never paste a password or key into Claude.

**4. Choose what Claude can access**

For each area, choose **View and edit**, **View only** or **Don't allow**. If you
have more than one workspace, pick the one to start in. Then choose
**Allow connection**.

**5. Try it**

Back in Claude, start a new chat and ask: "What's my training this week?"

### Team and Enterprise organizations

An Owner can add TechnicallyFit once for the whole organization in
**Admin settings**, then **Connectors**, then **Add**, **Custom**, **Web**. Use
the same server address. Leave authentication on **Sign in now**, and choose
**Register automatically** for the OAuth client. Each member then connects with
their own TechnicallyFit account, so nobody sees anyone else's data.

## Claude Desktop with a config file

If you prefer a config file, add this to `claude_desktop_config.json` and restart
Claude Desktop. It opens the same TechnicallyFit sign-in on first use.

```json claude_desktop_config.json theme={null}
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "technicallyfit": {
      "url": "https://mcp.technicallyfit.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Claude Code

Run this in your terminal:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http technicallyfit https://mcp.technicallyfit.com/mcp
```

Then, inside Claude Code, run `/mcp`, choose `technicallyfit` and sign in.

## What Claude shows you

* **Reads run right away.** Asking for today's session or your personal records
  returns the answer in the chat.
* **Changes come back as a proposal card.** When Claude logs sets, builds a program
  or updates your equipment, you get a card with the change. Confirm it on the card,
  or open the link to confirm it in TechnicallyFit. Nothing changes until you do.
* **Charts render inline.** Ask Claude to chart your training and it draws the same
  chart VERA draws in the app.

## Disconnect

Remove the connector in Claude under **Settings**, then **Connectors**, or revoke it
in TechnicallyFit under **Settings**, then **Connected AI**. Revoking in TechnicallyFit
takes effect immediately.
